What do I need to do to demo a GT?
You will need to fill out a quick registration/waiver form and provide us with a valid ID (driver's license) and credit card. (The credit card will not be charged unless the bike disappears or returns badly damaged.)
I am under 18. Can I still demo a GT?
Yes. But you will need a parent to fill out your registration/waiver form and provide a credit card. (The credit card will not be charged) unless the bike dissapears or returns badly damaged.
Do I need cycling shoes?
We recommend that you use the shoes that you typically ride in are most comfortable in. We will have flat pedals available if you don't want to clip in.
Do I need to bring my own helmet?
the has hooked us up with some sweet helmets. You can check one out or bring your own. We will not check out a demo bike to you if you're not wearing a properly fitting helmet.
Do I need to bring my own pedals to the demo?
It's better to bring your own pedals. We'll have some of the most common clipless pedals on hand, as well as flat pedals.
How long can I test ride the bike?
We want everyone to get a chance to ride their desired model, so 30-45 minutes is recommended. We can be flexible based on trail options and rider turnout.
Can I demo more than 1 bike?
Absolutely! You're welcome to try all of them. We'll do our best to get you on whatever you want to ride.
Why isn't the demo tour coming to my town?
There are only so many weekends every year! Please check for the closest event, try to make it out and have a great time.
Why is there a limited selection of models on the trailer?
We've got limited space on the trailer, so we picked out some of the best mountain bikes in the 2008 GT product line.
Do you sell the demo bikes?
No, but your local GT dealer does. Click here for a list of dealers in your area.
