Audi S5
The Audi S5 is a strong competitor in the high-performance coupe segment, thanks to its permanent four-wheel drive and V8 technology. The engine is rated at 354hp, and it can reach 60 mph in just over 5 seconds; however, there aren't really good enough words to describe the responsiveness of the engine, the continuous building of power, and the sound the engine makes. The six-speed manual transmission makes every shift a pleasure, and the all-wheel drive provides traction and perfect torque distribution.
The suspension on the Audi S5 is tuned for optimum performance and handling. Its brakes always ensure precise stopping, and its ESP (electronic stabilization program) can be switched on or off as the driver desires. The car strikes a balance between elegance and sporty style, but there are certain features (such as the grille and the bumpers) that lend a more aggressive stance to the S5.
However, as with many other things in life, it's what's on the inside that counts. The S5's seats, steering wheel, instrument cluster and aluminum sill plates lend a refined but dynamic atmosphere; stainless steel and wood are also interior trim options. The car comes equipped with xenon headlamps and the seats are fully adjustable.
The Audi S5 takes everything that was great about the A5 line, and refiined it to make it even better. The 2011 coupe and cabriolet models are the classics of tomorrow; they combine beautiful styling with an elegant interior and outstanding performance.
